倫敦藝術大學簡介
University of the Arts London 倫敦藝術大學 (UAL) 是世界上最優秀的藝術學校之一，每年為超過20,000名學生提供各種不同的文憑和學位課程。尤其UAL近期曾被Sunday Times University Guide (星期日泰晤士報大學指南) 評為英國最好的高等院校，並且兩次進入University of the Year 的最後候選者名單。為致力推廣UAL本身的優勢和特色，倫敦藝術大學採用聯合學院制，由六所世界著名的藝術和設計學院所組成：

據UAL Taiwanese Society和UAL Student’s Union 統計至2010年3月止，UAL擁有六所藝術和設計學院，座落於倫敦市中心17處所在地，並擁有多餘20棟的建築，和11間附屬的學生宿舍。統計於UAL就讀的學生有26,337人，而母語為中文的學生有898人，台灣學生則佔了333人。而多數的UAL學生居住於學校附屬的17間宿舍
倫敦為各種不同世界的中心點 ，時裝、設計、傳播及資訊之重鎮。倫敦亦為世界文化領導中心之一，有大量的博物館、美術陳列館及使人歎為觀止之偉大建築物，吸引很多藝術家、設計師、廣播員、攝影師及其他傳播界專業人士在此工作。UAL受聘約2000明學者和專業人士，教導學生們最新的專業知識、技術交流和增加實務經驗。UAL的學生也有許多的機會接觸美術、時裝、平面設計、商品設計、舞台設計、紡織、陶器、金屬製品、模特兒、美容、印刷、出版、新聞、攝影、傳播、零售、旅遊及觀光等良好的資源，擴展相關的知識和創意發想。每年有近3,000名學生畢業，並其中許多畢業生在藝術、設計、大眾傳播與娛樂界裡，相當活躍且成就非凡。

Located within London, the Colleges are at the heart of their respective communities. Drawing on and contributing to the local culture, they foster closely-knit and welcoming environments in which to study, supported by all the resources of the larger University and the wider arts community.
The Colleges offer the University's 20,000 students a diverse range of courses at all levels from foundation and undergraduate to postgraduate and research. The University's 1,228 teaching staff, as active professional artists, practitioners, designers, critics and theorists, lead the way on creative and experimental practice alongside historical and theoretical analysis. The combination of a varied student group, cutting-edge research and highly-experienced staff creates a unique, multifaceted learning experience for students at the University.
倫敦藝術大學台灣會歷史
全英國最負盛名的藝術設計專業教育組織 – The London Institute 正式於2004年升格為 University of Arts, London – 倫敦藝術大學，為此原 London Institute Taiwan Society – 倫敦藝術學協台灣同學會及校友會也因應改名為倫敦藝術大學台灣會，全名為： University of the Arts London Taiwanese Society。
本會成立於1996年，由魏玄武先生（CSM MAID）召集發起London Insititute 旗下五校十餘位的台灣留學生，共同創立LITS台灣同學會
1997年 會員數增至40人，並推選李斯豪先生（CSM BAGD/MACD）接任LITS第二屆會長。
1998年 會員數增至80人，創設 LITS 網站，首版正式開張。
1999年 會員數超過100人，由曾維鈞先生（CSM BAGD）獲選擔任LITS第三屆會長。
2000年 LITS網站第二版更新上線。
2001年 LITS網站第三版正式啟用。
2002年 推選由謝清安先生（CSM BAFA）接任LITS第四屆會長。
2003年 LITS校友會成立，主旨以建立規劃完善的校友資料庫系統，並協助支援LITS同學會網站資源。
2004年 改制為倫敦藝術大學，台灣留學生數超過200人，每年持續增加中！
2006年 由 EntaMedia 所贊助提供網站新址啟用：http://ual.taiwanese.co.uk
2008 年LITS台灣同學會正式更名為倫敦藝術大學台灣會(UAL Taiwanese Society)由嚴士育先生（CSM BAFDK）正式擔任第五屆會長，並開啟了更多以下的溝通窗口網路平台：

2009年 www.ual.taiwanese.co.uk 網站資料增加，網站介面改版。
2010年UAL Taiwanese Society榮獲The Event of Year Award 殊榮
改制之後的倫敦藝術大學旗下增加為六所藝術設計學院獨立招生，本台灣會之成員則以分別來自六所不同校系的台灣留學生為主，以及對台灣文化有興趣之外國學生，台灣會會除了每年主動辦理校內留學生聯合迎新活動外，我們也不定期策劃舉辦各項展覽／演講／說明會／郊遊／聚餐等類型的交流，目的在於促進海外留學生在英國的學習與生活，使同學們在旅英期間的留學生活得以更充實。我們也歡迎任何對藝術設計方面有專長和興趣的朋友一起加入！連絡信箱：info@ual.taiwanese.co.uk
倫敦藝術大學台灣會簡介
統計至2010年3月止UAL的台灣學生共有333人，本學生會以加強於UAL就讀之台灣學生間的連繫，增進情誼並且凝聚向心力，促進與業界合作發展，推廣台灣本土文化為成立宗旨。其主要目的為提供這些台灣學生一個聯繫交流的管道，增加台灣學生的自我價值認同，拓展來自不同國家的人脈，分享不同的文化經驗並掌握世界的設計動脈，以提升設計國際觀。

UAL Taiwanese Society Introduction
In 1996, The UAL Taiwanese Society was established to strengthen the connection and bonding between Taiwanese students studying in UAL. We also aim to create opportunities of collaboration and cooperation within the creative industry, and promote Taiwanese Culture. Students from all over the world who are interested in Taiwan and Taiwanese Culture are also welcome to join
AIM
Provides a platform for Taiwanese students in UAL to know and meet each other, and for further communication and negotiation.
Broaden students’ view and connection to people from different professions and cultural backgrounds, and share the variety of various cultures.
Collaborates with the creative industry to hold events and exhibitions in order to enhance and develop students’ practical experiences as a preparation for their future career.
Together, explore and redefine the value and position of Taiwanese across the globe.
To help Taiwanese students build up confidence and self-identification, develop connections between people all over the world, share different cultural experiences and keep in touch with latest stream of creative industry.
OBJECTIVE
Elects Rep from each college as society’s contacts.
Build up a network of all the Taiwanese students in UAL.
Welcome students from different countries to join the society, and together share and experience Taiwanese culture.
Hold a variety of events, exhibitions and design contests for students
Promote the genuine culture of Taiwan and reinforce the global image of Taiwan
